About

Dr. Knowles’s first job was for his orthodontist while in high school. It was there that he witnessed the positive impact that a beautiful, healthy smile has on a person’s outlook. To him, orthodontics is much more than just straightening the teeth; it is about cultivating confidence through their smile. He considers it an honor to provide orthodontic treatment to his patients and get to know them and their families on a personal level. He has a commitment to excellence and strives to deliver the highest-quality care to each person by staying on the cutting edge of technology and individualizing treatment.

Outside the Office:

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Knowles loves spending time with his wife, Katherine, and their three children—Hank, Boone, and Maeve. He enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and golfing.

Education

Dr. Knowles was born in Tyler, Texas, attended high school in Arlington, and graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He married his high school sweetheart, Katherine, before moving to Houston to attend The University of Texas Dental Branch, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He then completed over two years of specialized training in orthodontics, earning a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD). Afterward, Dr. Knowles gained valuable experience working in a private practice in the Houston area before relocating to Central Texas.
